Yellow Iron Oxide

Yellow Iron Oxide (CI 77492) is a common inorganic pigment used to impart yellow tones in cosmetic formulations. Chemically, it is hydrated iron III oxide and can range in shade from a light lemon to an orange-yellow depending on manufacturing conditions. It is frequently blended with red and black iron oxides to achieve flesh-toned shades in makeup products.
