Safflower Seed Oil

Carthamus Tinctorius Seed Oil is the oily liquid obtained from the seeds of the safflower plant (Carthamus tinctorius L., Compositae). It consists principally of the triglycerides of linoleic acid, making it a high linoleic acid oil (~70%) with smaller amounts of oleic acid (~11%). It also contains antioxidant vitamin E in the form of alpha-tocopherol (44mg/100g).
