It is produced via enzymatic biocatalysis combining raspberry seed oil and a Vitamin E derivative. Its official CosIng function is listed as skin conditioning, and it is also categorized as a moisturizer/humectant.
The manufacturer claims this ingredient can repair injured skin and restore healthy barrier function, helping skin remain healthy and hydrated.
