Pullulan
Pullulan is a polysaccharide polymer produced from starch by cultivating the yeast Aureobasidium pullulans via fermentation. It is water-soluble and forms a thin, elastic, moisture-absorbing film when applied to skin. It is also used as a thickener to achieve a silicone-like feel and is commonly found in peel-off masks.
