● Benefits

It can help protect skin from dryness and redness caused by cold weather, and in-vitro data suggest it stimulates synthesis of type I and IV collagen and elastin to support skin regeneration and smoother texture. In-vivo tests showed a 1% concentration increased skin hydration by 14.8% in cold weather and a 5% concentration reduced the depth of eye-area wrinkles by 44%. It also targets oily skin by reducing sebum production, skin shininess, and pore size via downregulation of the Melanocortin 5 receptor, with in-vivo data showing a 9.5% reduction in active follicles and a 27.2% reduction in total follicle surface after 28 days.
