Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil is a fixed oil obtained from the ripe seed kernel of the sweet almond tree (Prunus amygdalus var. dulcis, Rosaceae). It is rich in fatty acids, primarily oleic acid (55–86%) and linoleic acid (7–35%), and also contains antioxidant vitamin E and vitamin B versions. It is a basic plant oil widely used in cosmetics for its skin-conditioning properties.
