Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil
Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis Oil is the fixed oil obtained from the ripe seed kernel of the sweet almond tree (Prunus amygdalus var. dulcis, Rosaceae). It is rich in fatty acids, primarily oleic acid (55–86%) and linoleic acid (7–35%), and also contains antioxidant vitamin E and vitamin B versions. It is a basic plant emollient widely used in cosmetic formulations for its smoothing, softening, and moisturizing properties.
