Propylparaben

Propylparaben (Propyl 4-Hydroxybenzoate, CAS# 94-13-3) is a widely used synthetic preservative belonging to the paraben family. It functions primarily to prevent microbial growth and extend the shelf life of cosmetic formulations. It also carries a secondary perfuming function per official CosIng classification.
