● Benefits

Provides UVB protection (290–320 nm, peak at 312 nm) with favorable, non-greasy sensorial properties compared to many other sunscreen agents. It can stabilize the notoriously unstable UVA filter avobenzone and works synergistically with Ensulizole to achieve high SPF values.

● Cautions

Not approved for use in the United States. Subject to EU Cosmetic Restrictions (Annex VI/26), limiting its use to 10% as a UV filter. As a chemical sunscreen, individuals with sensitivity to chemical UV filters should exercise caution.
