Polymethylsilsesquioxane

Polymethylsilsesquioxane is a polymer formed by hydrolysis and condensation of methyltrimethoxysilane (CAS #: 68554-70-1). It is a spherical texturizing powder used as a texture enhancer and soft focus agent in cosmetic formulations. It is claimed to impart a silicone-type softness to formulas and also functions as a temporary wrinkle filler.
