Polyglyceryl-10 Stearate

Polyglyceryl-10 Stearate is a vegetable-based, PEG-free emulsifier created by combining ten glycerin molecules with stearic acid, a fatty acid. The resulting molecule is partly water-loving and partly oil-loving, enabling it to blend water and oil phases into stable, smooth, and cosmetically elegant emulsions. Its CAS number is 79777-30-3 and it is chemically described as 1,2,3-propanetriol homopolymer octadecanoates (10 mol glycerol average molar ratio).
