Polyacrylate-13

Polyacrylate-13 is a synthetic copolymer composed of acrylic acid, acrylamide, sodium acrylate, and sodium acryloyldimethyltaurate monomers. It functions primarily as a film-forming polymer in cosmetic formulations. It is commonly used as part of a thickener-emulsifier trio alongside Polyisobutene and Polysorbate 20. Together, these three ingredients provide excellent thickening and emulsifying-stabilising properties, along with a silicone-like feel and smooth glide-on spreading.

● Benefits

Polyacrylate-13 contributes to formula stability by acting as a film-forming agent and thickener. When combined with Polyisobutene and Polysorbate 20, it delivers strong emulsifying and stabilising performance. It also imparts a pleasant, silicone-like sensory feel to finished products.
