Macadamia Seed Oil

Macadamia Ternifolia Seed Oil is a golden yellow fixed oil obtained from the nuts of the bushnut (Macadamia ternifolia, Proteaceae), consisting primarily of glycerides of fatty acids. It is a high oleic acid oil (50–67% oleic acid, 0–5% linoleic acid), making it highly emollient. It also contains an unusually high level of the rare fatty acid palmitoleic acid (12–25%), which contributes to its characteristic "cushiony" feel.
