Linum Usitatissimum Seed Oil is the expressed oil from the dried ripe seeds of the flax plant (Linum usitatissimum L., Linaceae), also commonly known as flaxseed or linseed oil. It is one of the few plant oils notably rich in omega-3 fatty acid (linolenic acid, 35–65%), alongside oleic acid (11–35%) and linoleic acid (11–24%).
