Isopropyl Myristate
Isopropyl Myristate (CAS #110-27-0) is a clear, colorless oil-like liquid that functions as an emollient, giving skin a smooth feel without greasiness. It is fast-spreading, providing good slip to formulas, and absorbs quickly into the skin. It can also reduce the heavy, greasy feel in products with high oil content and helps other ingredients penetrate more quickly and deeply.
