Hydroxyethyl Acrylate/Sodium Acryloyldimethyl Taurate Copolymer (trade name: Sepinov EMT 10) is a synthetic copolymer built from sodium hydroxyethyl acrylate and acryloyldimethyl taurate monomers. It functions as a helper ingredient in cosmetic formulations, acting as an emulsifier, thickener, and gelling agent. It is effective over a very wide pH range of 3–12, making it suitable for use in low-pH formulas such as exfoliants. Its recommended use level is 0.3–3%.
