HDI/Trimethylol Hexyllactone Crosspolymer is a spherical powder formed from the reaction of 2-ethyl-2-hydroxymethyl-1,3-propanediol, tetrahydro-6-methyl-2H-pyran-2-one, and 1,6-diisocyanatohexane. It is commonly combined with Polymethylsilsesquioxane to form a texturizing duo used in cosmetic formulations. It possesses strong de-tackifying and anti-caking properties, and its official CosIng-listed function is anticaking.
