Disodium Cocoamphodiacetate

Disodium Cocoamphodiacetate is a mild, amphoteric surfactant derived from coconut oil, with the INCI chemical description: disodium n-2-(n-(2-carboxymethoxyethyl)-n-carboxymethylamino)ethylcocamide (EC #: 931-291-0). Unlike most surfactants which are anionic, its head group carries both a positive and a negative charge, contributing to its gentle profile.
