Dipeptide Diaminobutyroyl Benzylamide Diacetate
Dipeptide Diaminobutyroyl Benzylamide Diacetate, also known by its trade name Syn-Ake, is a synthetic tripeptide (three amino acid peptide) with a molecular weight of less than 500 Da. Its small size allows it to penetrate the skin effectively. It belongs to the "Botox in a jar" category of peptides, targeting wrinkles caused by facial movements such as laughter lines and crow's feet, similar in mechanism to Argireline and Leuphasyl. Its official CosIng function is listed as skin conditioning.
According to manufacturer in-vivo studies, 4% Syn-Ake used for 28 days resulted in 21% smoother and 15–20% less wrinkled skin, with maximum values up to 52% improvement. The smoothing effect was measurable in 80% of volunteers and wrinkle reduction was evident in 73%. It specifically targets expression-related wrinkles caused by repetitive facial movements.
Evidence cited in the source is from manufacturer-conducted in-vivo studies, which may carry inherent bias; independent clinical validation is not referenced in the source.
