Dimethicone/PEG-10/15 Crosspolymer
Dimethicone/PEG-10/15 Crosspolymer is a copolymer of dimethicone crosslinked with a mixture of PEG-10 and PEG-15 diallyl ethers. It is a PEG-modified, self-emulsifying crosslinked silicone elastomer surfactant that helps water mix with silicone oils, functioning as a water-in-silicone emulsifier. It creates highly stable micelle structures that break upon application, making it particularly suited to "water drop"-style cream formulations.
Enables stable water-in-silicone emulsions that deliver a lightweight, water-burst sensory experience on skin. Its film-forming and opacifying properties contribute to smooth product texture and appearance. The micelle structures it forms break on contact with skin, releasing active ingredients effectively.
