Diethylamino Hydroxybenzoyl Hexyl Benzoate
Diethylamino Hydroxybenzoyl Hexyl Benzoate (also known as Uvinul A Plus or DHHB, CAS 302776-68-7) is a new-generation chemical UV filter designed for high UVA protection across the full UVA range (320–400 nm), with peak absorption at 354 nm. It is classified as a UV filter under CosIng and carries cosmetic restriction VI/28. It can be used at concentrations up to 10% in most markets worldwide, but is not available in the US or Canada due to FDA regulatory constraints.
Provides broad UVA protection (320–400 nm) with high photostability, meaning it resists breaking down upon sun exposure. Its new-generation design makes it suitable for formulating highly stable, UVA-protective sunscreen products.
Not approved for use in the US or Canada. Maximum permitted concentration is 10% in markets where it is allowed. As a chemical UV filter, individuals with sensitivities to chemical sunscreen agents should exercise caution.
