Copernicia Cerifera (Carnauba) Wax/Copernicia Cerifera Cera/Cire De Carnauba

Copernicia Cerifera Wax, commonly known as Carnauba Wax, is a vegetable wax derived from the leaves and leaf buds of the Brazilian tropical palm tree Copernicia cerifera (Palmaceae). It is the hardest natural wax, with a high melting point of around 85°C and a notably high gloss. In cosmetics, it is used to stabilize and give body to formulations, and to keep stick-type products solid.
