Coco-Caprylate/Caprate

Coco-Caprylate/Caprate is a light emollient ester formed from C8-10 fatty acids (octanoic and decanoic acids) connected to C12-18 fatty alcohols derived from coconut. It is classified under the CosIng functions of emollient and skin conditioning. In terms of skin feel, it is comparable to Dicaprylyl Carbonate, another commonly used light emollient.
