Cetearyl Ethylhexanoate

Cetearyl Ethylhexanoate (also known as Cetearyl Octanoate) is a synthetic emollient oil composed of C16-18 alkyl esters of 2-ethylhexanoic acid (CAS #90411-68-0). It leaves a soft, non-greasy, non-sticky feel on the skin and absorbs quickly. It can be emulsified easily, making it compatible with water-based formulations.
