Ceratonia Siliqua Gum, also known as Locust Bean Gum, is derived from the ground seed of the ripe fruit of the carob tree (Ceratonia siliqua L.) of the Leguminosae family. It functions as a binding agent, emollient, emulsion stabiliser, film former, masking agent, and viscosity controller in cosmetic formulations.
