Carthamus Tinctorius (Safflower) Seed Oil

Carthamus Tinctorius Seed Oil is the oily liquid obtained from the seeds of the safflower plant (Carthamus tinctorius L., Compositae). It consists principally of the triglycerides of linoleic acid, with linoleic acid making up approximately 70% of its fatty acid composition and oleic acid around 11%. It also contains antioxidant vitamin E in the form of alpha-tocopherol (44mg/100g).
