Carthamus Tinctorius (Safflower) Flower Extract is derived from the safflower plant (Carthamus tinctorius L., Compositae). The seed oil form is an oily liquid consisting principally of triglycerides of linoleic acid, with approximately 70% linoleic acid and 11% oleic acid. It also contains antioxidant vitamin E in the form of alpha-tocopherol (44mg/100g).
